If your child’s eating has started to feel like the hardest part of your day, you’re in the right place. Happy Eaters provides pediatric nutrition counselling in BC, with virtual support across Canada for babies, toddlers, and children—including neurodiverse kids (especially ASD/ADHD).
If your situation overlaps multiple categories, that’s common. We’ll build a plan that accounts for the whole picture.
The Sensory-Safe Parent
your child has rigid food preferences, sensory sensitivities, or a short list of “safe foods” (often with ASD/ADHD in the picture).
The Dinner-Battle Parent
meals feel like negotiations, snacks run the day, and you’re tired of conflict.
The Growth-Worrier
you’re watching weight and intake closely and feeling anxious about whether your child is getting enough.
The Lunchbox Pressure Parent
school-day eating is the issue—lunch comes back untouched and afternoons are rough.
The Tube-Feeding Navigator
you’re managing feeding schedules, comfort, constipation concerns, and growth—often alongside a medical team.

Yes. We start with what your child reliably eats and build nutrition from there—so progress doesn’t depend on forcing new foods. We’ll identify realistic upgrades (protein, fiber, iron, key nutrients) and create a low-pressure strategy for gradual change that respects sensory needs.
Nutrition in autism isn’t a quick fix. Most families see progress through small, consistent changes—often starting with routines, comfort (like constipation), and nutrition upgrades within accepted foods. Follow-ups help keep progress moving as your child grows and changes.
